OAK PARK, MI, July 8, 2008 - Vertabase, a leading developer of project management software, today announced the acquisition of Palo Alto, CA-based Accomplice and its task management software.

Accomplice provides a simple and effective way for users to manage to-dos, goals and notes, and then synchronize this information with their teams. Activities may be sub-tasked, prioritized, scheduled, delegated and tracked. Supporting information - e-mail, documents, rich text and web links - may also be turned into notes and linked to activities.

For greater flexibility, Accomplice may be integrated with Microsoft Outlook and synchronized with smart phones. Task management and sharing is as easy as e-mail, but much more effective. Accomplice may be installed directly on a Windows PC or on a U3 Smart USB flash drive for portability between PCs, and it works both on- and off-line.

Accomplice patented desktop software was first publicly recognized at the DEMO 2006 conference by Executive Producer, Chris Shipley, as the first task management product that is "effective enough to become a habit".
